THE Three Steps to Scale and Grow Your Business Quickly

The word “scale”, even outside of the entrepreneurial world, has a TON of different meanings (thanks SO much English language…). Scales for weight, scaling buildings in a single leap, scales on the lizard man, singing your scales….ALL THE SCALES!!!!!

One type of scale the “normal folk” don’t use? The business growth scale.

Look through your inbox. How many times do you see the phrase “Scale your business…” or “Scale your income…”?

Scale simply means “to grow”…and it’s THE most important part of starting a business their is. It’s the answer to EVERY struggle you face in this new adventure.

“I’m not getting sign ups.” – Scale your traffic.

“I’m not making sales.” – Scale your list.

“I can’t keep up with the workload.” – Scale your team.

I’m going to repeat that…so pay attention here.

Your Traffic. Your List. Your Team.

No matter WHAT convoluted solutions other bloggers, emails, facebook groups and businesses give you….EVERY one of their solutions boils down to focusing on THOSE THREE SCALES.

Scale your traffic – Look…traffic is LITERALLY the gold trophy in the blogging game! If you don’t care about your traffic…you’re simply keeping a journal.

By building traffic now…you’ll have the opportunity to make sales later on down the line with products, affiliate sales, a kick ass community of like minded listeners, and a business you can be proud of.

Scale your list – Once you have your traffic plan in place (literally the second you have your PLAN in place) you’re going to want to start building your email list! Blogs are GREAT, but the world is a distracting place…and MOST readers won’t know your new blog post has even been published!

Social media can die at any time…and doesn’t even show your post to your entire audience anyhow! Email, on the other hand, means that…within 24 hours, you can have a stream of traffic headed straight to your young blog post instead of whatever trickle you can rustle up from Facebook.

One of my FAVORITE methods of scaling my list is to launch a challenge!!

Scale your team – Finally, the third part of your business to scale…and this is the fun one…is going to be your team. Sure…you’re super(wo)man, but even superhero’s can’t be in the same place at the same time! In order for your business to grow…you HAVE to be willing to let go.

Even if you aren’t ready to start delegating QUITE yet…start making a list of tasks you wouldn’t MIND delegating in the future!! As you go about your day….pay attention to what you just don’t want to do, what you NEED to do but don’t have time for, and what you ABSOLUTELY love to do.

Keeping track of this early will make it SO much easier to free up your time, and spend your well-earned bucks in the right places later!!

SO…moral of the story…SCALE to SCALE. Scale these three areas of your business to be able to scale your profits and success!!
